Tynker Junior is a free educational program designed for early learners who are just starting to read. The program uses graphical blocks to move characters, making it easy for young children (ages 5-7) to learn the fundamentals of coding.
Tynker Junior was inspired by the award-winning Tynker programming language, which is used by over 60 million kids and in more than 90,000 schools worldwide. The program features word-free picture blocks, a tap-based interface, friendly voiceovers, helpful hints, and a gentle progression of difficulty to motivate completion. With over 200 coding challenges in five puzzle-based adventures and two project creation studios, children can learn sequencing, pattern recognition, events, parameters, counting loops, delays, and conditional logic.
